Dr. Hans Blom is a board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction. Although Dr. Blom practices General Orthopaedics as well as Ortho Trauma, his particular interest is in Joint Replacement. Specifically the management of arthritic diseases of the hip and knee.
Dr. Blom received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1991. He completed his internship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in 1992 and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center in 2001. Dr. Blom completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the University of Colorado. Prior to starting private practice, Dr. Blom spent 16 years in the United States Army. During that time he had been deployed many times to areas including Haiti, Central America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Dr. Blom Specializes in Adult Reconstruction which is a subspecialty of Orthopaedic Surgery that deals with degenerative conditions of the hip and knee; as well as arthritis, bone and joint injuries, muscle problems, joint stiffness, pain and sports related injuries.
